Discover the wild areas along the shores of the Hudson River! During Nature Adventures, children will investigate the birds, bugs and plants in Beczak's backyard and at the Piermont Marsh, as well as visit Yonkers own floating farm, the Science Barge.
The week also includes a visit from two-legged, four-legged, no legged, furry, feathered, bristled and scaly residents of the Greenburgh Nature Center.
Children's curiosity about the different plants and animals they see and touch during the week provide an exciting introduction to the world of science. Nature Adventures encourages observation and investigation.
